About ValueCart

Quality standards, plainly stated.

What we check before a product is listed, where materials come from, and how our policies work.

Quality inspection of home furnishings

Quality standards

Four checks, before anything gets listed.

Dimension verification

Every measurement on a product page is checked against the physical sample, not the factory spec sheet alone.

Material testing

Upholstery, foams and finishes are tested for durability and flame compliance before a listing goes live.

Packaging review

Every item is drop-tested in its shipping carton to reduce transit damage before it reaches a doorstep.

Final inspection

A sample from every production batch is inspected by hand before that batch is approved for sale.

Raw wood and textile materials

Material sourcing

Named materials, not marketing words.

We work with a small group of mills and workshops that supply solid ash, oak, walnut veneer, kiln-dried poplar and birch frames, along with wool, linen and boucle textiles. If a listing says "solid ash legs," the legs are solid ash — not a laminate printed to resemble it.

  • Solid hardwood frames, disclosed by species
  • Low-VOC dyes and finishes across textiles
  • CertiPUR-US foam in every upholstered seat
  • Batch-tested metal hardware and hinges
